The Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) plans to extend the existing rail line from its terminus near North Pole, Alaska, 80 miles to a point near Delta Junction. The line will ultimately provide improved transportation options for the U.S. military, mass transit, and freight movement. Here you will find up-to-date information on the project, the route, construction phases, and how you can stay informed about the project.

Firewood Permits
Due to limited availability, the ARRC is no longer accepting new firewood permit applications. If you have lost or misplaced your form, you can download the permit form.
If you have received a permit and have not yet picked up your wood, the ARRC will contact you when additional wood becomes available.
